Download the file

Click the black Download button. A single file named peeksolve.zip saves to your Downloads folder. You'll see it pop up at the bottom of the browser.

That's the whole extension — about 30 KB. There's no installer and nothing to "run".

Unzip it into a folder

macOSDouble-click peeksolve.zip in Downloads. A normal folder called peeksolve appears right next to it.

WindowsRight-click the zip → Extract All…Extract. You get a peeksolve folder.

Keep this folder. The extension runs from it — drag it to your Desktop so you don't delete it by accident.

Open the Extensions page

In Chrome, click the address bar at the top, type this exactly, and press Enter:

  1. Click the address bar
  2. Type chrome://extensions
  3. Press Enter

Edge: edge://extensions · Brave: brave://extensions. Same idea everywhere.

Turn on “Developer mode”

Look at the top-right corner of that page. There's a switch labelled Developer mode. Click it so it turns blue (on).

This only lets your browser load an extension from a folder. You do it once, and it's completely safe.

Click “Load unpacked”

The moment Developer mode is on, three buttons appear at the top-left. Click the first one: Load unpacked.

If you don't see the buttons, scroll up — they sit just under the page title.

Choose the peeksolve folder

A window opens to pick a folder. Find the peeksolve folder from step 2, click it once to select it, then click Open (Windows: Select Folder).

Select the folder itself — don't go inside it and don't pick a single file. Just highlight peeksolve and confirm.

It's installed ✓

Done — the Peeksolve card now shows up in your list, switched On. That's the extension fully installed. No restart needed.

Saw a small grey “Errors” note? It's harmless — Peeksolve still works. You can ignore it.

Pin it to your toolbar

So it's always one click away: click the puzzle-piece 🧩 icon at the top-right, find Peeksolve, and click the pin next to it.

The little aperture circle now lives in your toolbar permanently.
